Allergy / Anti-inflammatory Juice

Ingredients (for 2 glasses):

  • 1 organic green apple
  • 1/2 – 1 bunch organic parsley
  • 2 1/2 stalks organic celery
  • 1/4 – 1/2 large organic cucumber (peel if grown outside the USA)
  • 1 tablespoon homemade organic turmeric paste with black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon organic lemon or organic apple cider vinegar (with the mother)

Juice the above ingredients in a juicer (cold press juicer if possible), and serve.
If you are experiencing inflammation, allergies or allergy symptoms, drink this twice daily.

This juice features turmeric, a wonderful healing root that has anti-inflammatory effects to help activate the cells of our immune system against allergic responses.

Parsley is also a great herb which inhibits the release of histamine (the main player in allergic reactions), and thus acts as a natural antihistamine.

Vitamin C is another anti-oxidant which acts as an antihistamine, and parsley, apples and lemons are loaded with vitamin C!

A couple of years ago my right index finger was slightly swollen and at times I was I experiencing slight numbness and itchiness in the finger as well. Sometimes I felt the symptoms in other fingers on that hand as well, but it was predominantly the one finger.

I came across this juice recipe and decided to consume two glasses daily and see if it had any effect. After about 3 – 4 months of this routine all of my fingers were feeling completely normal -no swelling, numbness or itchiness. I continued to drink the juice daily for another few months, just because I loved the juice! It has now been about a year since I have consumed the juice on a regular basis but the fingers and hand remain healed with no issues.
