Basically how powerline networking works is you extend your home network using your existing electrical wiring. Most kits have 2 adapters, but you can use multiple in your home if you’d like. One adapter plugs into a outlet near your router where your internet comes in. Run a ethernet cord to the powerline adapter. Plug another powerline adapter where you’d like internet. For example a computer, TV, devices, etc.
If your home is all 3 prong outlets. Then these are the top 2 kits to pick from. They are faster than the 2 prong adapter. But some of them will take up the space on both plugs on your outlet. Look for those with a power outlet pass-through. So you can still use the plug for whatever you’d like. But don’t plug these adapters into a power strip. The performance will degrade if you do this.

This Secura Electric Water Kettle has a seamless stainless steel interior, stainless rim, lid & spout. In my search I found mostly steel with a little plastic or silicone either in the base, lid, reservoir level, spout, etc. Plastic leaches most when it’s under stress, for example boiling water & steam.
There may be other plastic free electric kettles, but this was the only one I found that I was ok buying. If you found another, let me know & I can update this post with a list of truly plastic free electric kettles. The other I would have liked, but I can’t get it easily in the USA is the Ottoni Fabbrica electric kettle.
Been using this daily for a few months now. It holds 1.7 Liter/ 1.8 Quart & bring water to a boil very quickly. Pours great & no rust issues at all. Never noticed any odd taste with the water. The electric cord is very generous at 2 feet 11 inches & you can wrap the excess you don’t need under the base.

I noticed when I got a new computer at work with a LED screen. My eyes would be strained after a couple hours of working. I did my best to take mini breaks often. But still the eye strain remained. Found some articles that talked about blue light from the screen being the main culprit. I looked into screen films that block out a majority of the blue light. But I didn’t want to spend money on that at the moment. So I looked at programs that would actually greatly reduce blue light on computers & mobile devices. It does make a difference. Prior to using these programs, my eyes would be bloodshot at the end of the work day. Since I started using the programs, no bloodshot eyes at all. Sometimes my eyes feel a little tired, depending on the day. But a huge improvement! I can’t go back.
Dr. Celia Sanchez-Ramos of Complutense University in Madrid has reported that prolonged, continuous exposure to LED screens could irreversibly damage the retina of your eye, which might lead to macular degeneration and blindness over time. The culprit is intense levels of “blue light.”
According to Dr Sanchez-Ramos, LED screens produced from 2007 onwards emit up to five times more blue light than older versions did.

The true source of this discomfort is a high amount of uric acid in your system. Normally the body rids itself of uric acid by excreting it in the urine, keeping blood levels low. If your eating foods that build a lot of uric acid in your body & not eating enough foods to neutralize or remove it. It’s very possible you will have muscle pain, joint pain, kidney stones, gout or kidney failure.
These high levels lead to gout — but not right away. In fact, uric acid levels are typically elevated for 20 to 30 years before they cause any trouble, which is why gout usually occurs in middle-aged and older men. But gout can also be triggered by a rapid drop in uric acid levels, which is why up to 30% of men with gout have normal uric acid levels at the time of an attack.
An attack of gout occurs when excess uric acid is deposited in a joint and forms urate crystals that irritate the joint lining. White blood cells try to gobble up the crystals, but they are not equal to the task. The white blood cells are themselves damaged, releasing chemicals that cause inflammation, swelling, and pain.
The most common manifestation of gout is acute arthritis, severe pain in a joint. In most cases, it strikes one joint at a time; in half, it’s the first joint in the large toe. Other frequent sites include the forefoot, instep, heel, ankle, and knee. At any site, the attack usually begins abruptly, often at night. Within hours, the joint becomes red, swollen, hot, and painful. And even though only one small joint is affected, the inflammation can be intense enough to cause fever, muscle aches, and other flu-like symptoms.
Without treatment, gout can also cause long-term arthritis, with chronic swelling and permanent joint damage.
